Clean your lashes at least once a day to prevent build up on the lash line. Build up can cause your extensions to shed prematurely and can weaken the over health of your natural lashes. Use a lash cleanser or baby shampoo diluted in water to cleanse.
Brush your lashes once a day
Make sure to book your Refresh appointments in advance to avoid playing catch up. Refresh appointments are scheduled every 2-3 weeks and you should have at least 50% of your extensions remaining.
Be on the look out for shedding lashes! You'll see about 2-4 extensions shed per day and they will be attached to your natural lash. No need to be alarmed! This is exactly what you want to see
Don'ts
Use products with oils in them. Oil will disintegrate the adhesive causing your lash extensions to shed prematurely. (don't hesitate to reach out to me directly if you are unsure if you're using oily products)
Touch your lashes! Our fingers are covered in oils so you want to avoid touching. Try using a lash brush to fix or fluff your lashes.
Sleep on your stomach; this will cause your extensions to get squished and potentially shed prematurely.
Curl your lashes. Your extensions will not curl, only kink. If you're feeling like your lashes could be curlier, just mention it to me at your next appointment!
